Getting to St. John’s

St. John’s Church is located at 628 Main Street in downtown Stamford, Connecticut. The campus is convenient to I-95 and to Amtrak and Metro-North at the Stamford rail station, which is a short walk or cab ride away.

Parking

Free and accessible parking is available on Sundays and during parish events in one of three locations:

  • Street parking on Main Street or Suburban Avenue, adjacent to the church (free on Sundays)

  • In a surface lot at the intersection of Main Street and Suburban Avenue, a short walk to the church (open Sundays only).

  • In the church’s underground parking garage: the entrance is on Suburban Avenue, labeled “201 Broad Street Canterbury Green Parking,” and may be found on Google maps here. Once inside the garage, follow signs labeled “St. John’s Parking.”

Finding the church

The church can be accessed two ways:

  • Through the front doors, which face the courtyard off Main Street

  • If parking in the underground garage, through a door directly into the parish buildings. Once inside, climb the stairs to the main level (the door is labeled “St. John’s Parish”), and follow the hallway through the parish buildings to the main body of the church.
