Baptisms, Communion and Confirmation

At St. John’s we honor that God is with us every step of our journey, through celebrating the sacraments of baptism, communion, and confirmation. Find out more about baptism, communion, and confirmation at St. John’s.

  • Baptism – Baptism is a sacrament offered to all people of any age recognizing that we each belong to God. It is a celebration and commitment to live and support each other and the world as beloved gifts from God. Are you interested in baptism for yourself or your child? If so, please contact the Parish Administrator Kathy McBride at 203-348-2619 x10 or follow the below link –

  • Communion – Because we believe we are all welcome at God’s table, every Sunday St. John’s welcomes children of all ages to partake of communion. But upon request, we celebrate first communion for those who wish to celebrate the sacrament in a more formal way. To find out more, please contact Jane Holt at 203-348-2619 x10.

  • Confirmation – Confirmation is taking a step closer to God in our faith journeys. Generally, confirmation is offered to young people around eighth grade. To find out more information if confirmation is right for you or your child, please contact Madeline Johnson at mjohnson[at] or 203-348-2619 x15.
